1. What should we bring with us to the pool?
You should bring your child’s swimsuit, towel, and sandals. We do not allow water wings or other floatation devices during lessons. We do not mind if children use goggles after they have completed Level 1.
2. How do I know what level to sign my child up for?
Please see the Requirement skills in the “About Swimming Lessons” section and sign your child up according to their current ability level. On the first and second day of lessons, we will assess your child and make the appropriate changes.
3. Will we have access to changing rooms?
Yes! Access to men’s and women’s changing rooms will be available before and after your lessons.
4. Can I watch my child during the lesson?
Yes! We welcome parents to sit and watch while the lesson is in session. However, we do not allow interaction with your child during the lesson. Please direct any questions or concerns to the lesson’s coordinator.
5. Who are your instructors?
Our instructors are qualified Wingate University swimmers, who have been trained.
6. Will my child pass a level each time he/she takes lessons?
No. We are aware that all children move at different paces. We will push your child to succeed; however, we will not pass a child to the next level if they are not ready. It is not unusual for a child to repeat a level in our program. It is our goal to teach your children to swim. |
